​How it Works

​1. Learning Style and Numeracy Skills Check

​Firstly we conduct a meet and greet session where we get to know each other. We'll explore how you like to learn, your interests and your feelings towards number crunching. We will also evaluate your motivation to make progress and your availability. If you are up for it, you can also experience a 15–30 minute maths muscle workout during this first meeting! From this information, we will propose and Action Plan and send it to you by email soon after the meeting.

​The Learning Style and Numeracy Skills Check goes for 60–90 minutes and is conducted face-to-face, in the student's home or meeting room within the area bounded by Narrabeen, Manly/Seaforth and Belrose/Forestville on Sydney's northern  beaches. 

​2. Schedule Action: Tuition

We schedule your face-to-face tuition sessions according to the plan you choose and focus on the areas that need the most improvement.

Tuition can also be centred around a specific math topic for an upcoming test/exam.

We customise the tuition to your child's preferred learning style and personal interests where applicable. The more your child engages with the session, the more beneficial it will be to their learning.

Homework tasks are given at each tutorial to practice the learning from the session or to set more time-intensive skills checks than those that could be done in the preliminary Numeracy Skills Check.

​Other: Homework Help

We also offer maths Homework Help for school students in Years 3 to 10 in Sydney’s northern beaches, within the area bounded by Narrabeen, Manly/Seaforth and Belrose/Forestville. This is assistance with syllabus-specific exercises that have been set by your child's school.​ The best way to make the most of the session, is for your child to have attempted all their homework questions beforehand, so that we can hone in on areas that need attention straight away.​

Homework Help is offered face-to-face and may be conducted in a public library during opening hours or at the child's home, if it is suitable. Discounted pre-paid packages are available for multiple appointments.​
