Could your child use some more hands-on maths practice,
​that is fun at the same time (and has NO homework 😀)? 
 
​Then get them on board the Maths Xpress! (Choo-Choo)

In Term 3, 2025 Calculated Minds is running a practical maths circuit class for 8–12 year-olds!

What is Maths Xpress?
Well, it's not a real train, but it has stations...
It is a humble but action-packed circuit class where maths comes to life!

• Short and punchy numeracy practice in a small group
• Maths in simulated real-life scenarios as well as routine drills
• Time-limited stations to keep things moving (Chop-Chop)
• When the bell rings, all 'passengers' move on to the next station (Choo-Choo)
• Choice of earlier stage (Year 3–4) or later stage (Year 5–7) activities at each station
• Integration of school maths with fun, tangible and memorable tasks
• Maximum five students in one circuit class
• Cost is $50 per circuit class per student
• New students can claim one free ticket as below.

Dates, Time and Venue

Maths Xpress circuits will be conducted on Fridays from the 4:15pm to 5:15pm
on the following eight days in Term 3, 2025:-

• 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 August 2025
• 5, 12, 19 September 2025

at the Harbord Literary Institute
Corner of Oliver and Lawrence Streets, 
Freshwater NSW 2096
Prior enrolment is essential. We can't take bookings during the circuit class.
If your child is between 8–12 years of age, you are welcome to claim one free ticket during the pilot period (dates above).

To enrol or enquire, please fill in the contact form below and we will email you an enrolment form with available dates and payment options. Spots will be allocated on a first in, first served basis and individual dates will be closed off once the five-student limit is reached per date. Bookings are secured once payment is received.
