"Happy Hour" is a new community initiative providing budget-priced help for local high school maths students during the off-peak time.
The coach's time is shared equally among attending students.

Calculated Minds is offering affordable and communal maths homework help for high school students in Term 3 on Friday afternoons.

- Homework help during Happy Hour is offered to students in the Standard Maths stream Years 7–12 or Advanced Maths in Years 9 & 10.
- Homework Help is offered to high school students whose parents have made successful bookings in advance.
- Bookings are secured by registration and payment of a flat fee of $15 per student per day. Bookings will close once the five student limit per date is reached.
- The coach endeavours to share the time equally between the students who attend during that hour. Hence, print only a few questions for each day.
- Homework Help is limited to printed homework questions only. If you can’t access a printer, feel free to email a clear legible copy of the maths questions two days in advance and they will be printed off for you before the session in which you are booked.
- No online homework and no internet usage permitted during Happy Hour! We could all use a break from screens and EMR. 😀
- Personal phones to be switched off or put on Flight/Silent mode out of respect to the study environment and other students.
- No food is allowed in the meeting room. Closed water bottles are OK.
- Students to bring their own pens, rulers, paper and calculators... and printed homework questions.
- Happy Hour is a good opportunity to meet the numeracy coach in person before considering a longer-term private tuition arrangement.

Dates, Time and Venue
Happy Hour will be conducted on the following Fridays in Term 3, 2025 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm only.
Corner of Oliver and Lawrence Streets, Freshwater NSW 2096 Cost is $15 per student per day. Advanced bookings are essential and are confirmed once payment is received. No administration facilities are offered at the venue. |

Spots will be allocated on a first in, first served basis upon order of booking with payments received. Individual dates will be closed off once the five student limit is reached for each date.
